Statistics are fun? (or, observations on a tiny slice of DiaLovers fandom)

So, every once in a while it occurs to me to check my Soundcloud where I've pretty much just posted drama CD tracks (and the best part of the Jooubachi musical, which no one listens to but whatever, their loss). And apart from all the people with obvious good taste listening to and reposting Kanato's More Blood CD/the one person who simply commented "JESUS CHRIST" on the Rin solo CD (you're not wrong, person! you're not wrong!) I have to admit I find it fascinating tracking the stats on the bonus CD I got with my special edition of Diabolik Lovers Haunted Dark Bridal and promptly uploaded.

See, there's six tracks and each one is a short scenario with a different Sakamaki brother. So watching the number of listens gives me an ideas about the popularity of each brother, at least for the part of the fandom that, you know, listens to drama CDs on Soundcloud.

Given that as far as I know none of these tracks have been translated anywhere and the fact that Ayato is actually the LEAST listened to track, I assume this is mostly the Japanese fandom. Because ime Ayato is probably the MOST popular Sakamaki in English language fandom.

So yeah, Ayato is least listened to with Reiji just sliiightly ahead, then a massive (2000+ more listens!) jump to Laito, then Kanato followed by Subaru also barely ahead, and finally Shuu with a hilariously MASSIVE lead of over DOUBLE Subaru's listens.

Which is to say, as of today, here are the numbers:

Ayato: 5,292 plays
Reiji: 5,411 plays
Laito: 7,021 plays
Kanato: 8,568 plays
Subaru: 8,784 plays
Shuu: 16.8K plays

I salute your dedication, Shuu fans! (Even if I will never get the appeal)
