Hi, and thank you for checking out my letter! I've provided some prompts, ideas, general concepts and the like for each fandom along with the horror genres I like best for that request and while I hope some of them speak to you, if they don't please feel free to write me something else based on the horror genre providing it doesn't hit any of my DNWs.
Also my AO3 name is HannaM just in case you're a lovely person browsing for treats.
General Likes: creeping dread, not being able to trust one’s own memories/intuition/general sanity, vampires, ghosts, werewolves and other were-creatures, blood related rituals, atmosphere, characters trying to cover up their own discomfort with humor, ambiguous endings, characters trying to do their best despite all the odds being against them, oddly tender moments, tender moments that are really inappropriately timed, characters who are understandably wary of everything due to life circumstances, recovering memories you didn’t actually want back, something supernatural trying its best to blend in but failing just enough to unsettle, trauma from upbringing/family, gaslighting (though not between any requested relationships except perhaps Link & Happy Mask Salesman) huddling together for comfort even/especially if it’s not something one of them would usually do.
Blanket DNWs that are a bit more relevant to some fandoms than others: terminal illness, non-canonical major character death, pregnancy, kidfic, total paralysis/I have no mouth but I must scream kind of scenarios, amputation/permanent disfigurement, ageplay/extreme underage, vomit, scat, beastiality, insane asylums, shock treatment, medical stuff, eye and fingernail harm, gendered violence against women (women attacked/hurt in their reproductive organs/breasts, a focus on killing women specifically, women punished for being sexually active), non-canon age regression (out of fear or for any other reason really)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Characters: Link, Link & Happy Mask Salesman
Genres: Body Horror, Survival Horror, Psychological Horror
Sexual Content: No
The masks are already pretty horrifying IMO, so it’d be great to get some Link POV on them. Or how they were created (did the Happy Mask Salesman create them, happen upon them, purchase them?) or more about their origins. Or, if you don’t want to write about the masks, anything about Link exploring in a weakened state/dealing with the fact that he was once strong enough to defeat Ganondorf and then was forcibly changed into a weak Deku Scrub at the beginning of the game.
Pictures of You- Oingo Boingo (Song)
Characters: Singer/You
Genres: Gothic Horror, Paranormal Horror
Sexual Content: Yes
Who (or what) are You? When did the singer meet You (her? him? them?) if they can even remember it? What do You want, really? Are they dead and haunting the singer? Are they some sort of supernatural entity with a crush? And what about the singer? Did they kill You? Why do You come to them twice, once wrong and cold and once right and warm, successfully seducing the singer? Will You come to them a third time?
I'll note that I originally pictured You as female, but I'm open to them being male or nonbinary as well!
Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Video Game)
Characters: Geralt of Rivia, Geralt of Rivia & Ciri
Genres: Folk Horror, Paranormal Horror, Psychological Horror, Religious Horror
Sexual Content: No
A creepy Geralt (or Geralt + Ciri) adventure, please! Maybe Geralt (or Ciri) is wounded and has to recover in a creepy small town? Maybe a ghost from the past finds Geralt? Or maybe a cult wants Ciri because of her blood, or Geralt because of his mutations? There’s plenty of material in canon for all these types, of course, so feel free to build off existing lore or create your own spooky situation.
Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Video Game)
Relationship: Geralt of Rivia/Triss Merigold
Genres: Paranormal Horror, Psychological Horror? Gothic Horror?
Sexual Content: Optional
A romantic getaway turned into a nightmare? Or perhaps after a period of separation, Geralt and Triss both get roped individually or together into investigating something that turns out to be a lot freakier than either of them anticipated? Or perhaps something disguises itself as Triss to seduce Geralt and Geralt slowly realizes something's not right (or realizes abruptly when the real Triss shows up)... or any other ideas you might have to combine horror with romance for these two!
