Yuletide Letter 2022

murderershairHi, and thank you for checking out my letter! I've thrown out a bunch of prompts for the characters I've requested in each fandom, but if none of them speak to you then consider them more like guidelines and/or suggestions.
If you are interested in writing me horror (for any of my requested fandoms) and/or smut (for Code Realize or Piofiore) I encourage you to check out my recent letters for Multifandom Horror 2021 and/or Smut Swap 2022 respectively. I have a lot of other additional likes both general and specific in those that might be of interest.
Blanket DNWs that are a bit more relevant to some fandoms than others: terminal illness, non-canonical major character death, non-canonical addiction, pregnancy, kidfic, total paralysis/I have no mouth but I must scream kind of scenarios, amputation/permanent disfigurement, ageplay, extreme underage, daddy/mommy kink, non-canon age regression (out of fear or for any other reason really), vomit, scat, come in hair, bestiality, characters being forcibly institutionalized, shock treatment, medical stuff (including medfet and doctor visits/diagnoses), eye and fingernail harm, needles, gendered violence against women (women attacked/hurt in their reproductive organs/breasts, a focus on killing women specifically, women punished for being sexually active), vore, sex with food, and asexual and/or sex-repulsed characters in sexual situations.

Finis
DNW permanently dead Finis or permanently dead Cardia.
Finis spent years as the head of Twilight taking orders from the Queen, with Isaac (technically) dead. Did he enjoy that work or was he frustrated he couldn't commit himself more fully to executing Isaac's plan? Had he been keeping tabs on Cardia's progress the whole time? It seems like unlike Finis, Cardia woke alone... did Finis mean to be there when she woke up in Wales? Or did he deliberately orchestrate her loneliness out of jealousy due to Isaac's treatment of him?
Although I definitely want a story principally focused on Finis, and you don't need to write about any other character, if you are interested in bringing in other major characters, the relationships I'm most fascinated by are Finis & Cardia, Finis & Van Helsing and/or Finis & Isaac.
I found Van Helsing's route so frustrating because it builds up this incredibly fascinating history between Finis and Van and then there's no time to really explore the fallout or the reality of what was really happening there because there's so much other stuff going on and Finis is approximately the game's tenth priority or lower. But what we do have about Van Helsing's time as part of Twilight is pretty juicy!
So, Van Helsing thinks Finis killed his family, but he's wrong. Does Finis know Van Helsing thinks that? Does he enjoy having Van Helsing basically as a one-sided self-declared nemesis? Finis remarks at one point that Cardia and Van Helsing are "two of my beloved" so I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Finis likes Van Helsing. Did Van Helsing ever like Finis? What was their relationship like when Van Helsing was part of Twilight? I'm also definitely here for Finis just fucking with Van Helsing because it amuses him, hate sex etc.
If you do want to write Finis/Van Helsing I'm more interested in it being antagonistic/complicated than fluffy, FWIW. Please no curtainfic.
If you're open to writing about Finis's relationship with Cardia, I'm interested in creepy onesided (or Finis obsessed, Cardia conflicted) Finis/Cardia, sweet platonic post-Future Blessings Finis & Cardia and sweet Finis/Cardia (hey, she said she wanted to show him more of love!) so really anything with their relationship is good as long as it's intense!
I love love loved the Finis path in Future Blessings (And if you haven't played it, the whole thing is on Youtube if you search, cough) so anything set after that is very welcome though also feel free to use another timeline with or without redeemed!Finis.
For the sweet side of their relationship, maybe Cardia teaching Finis some of the things she learned from Lupin's gang, or them going on a mundane outing together for the first time? Or Finis explaining technology or other things about the world to Cardia (maybe even getting a bit competitive once he realizes she's learned from Lupin, Saint-Germain and the other guys) in exchange for her smoothing over the awkwardness of him trying to get along socially with friends of hers who he hurt in the past? If you're interested in taking it romantic, who makes the first move? Do they share a bed? Are they both kind of terrible at kissing at first, or does Finis have residual knowledge from Isaac that is both helpful and frankly kind of uncomfortable?
As for the creepy... We know that zicterium can temporarily make poisonous Cardia not-poisonous to the touch... which opens up possibilities like, say, a scenario where Finis is alive at the end of Victor's route, captures Cardia after she's drunk some and discovers that he, for starters, can stroke her cheek without melting his hand. How would a non-redeemed Finis react if he found out his sister had been having sex when her body belongs to him and Father?
Speaking of which, if you want to delve into Isaac and Finis, I'd love something tragic, creepy, or tragically creepy on that front. We know Isaac is a deeply unethical scientist, to put it mildly. He may not have outright abandoned Finis the way Mary Shelley's original Dr Frankenstein did to his creature, but he unquestionably took advantage of Finis's desire to be loved and was willing to completely use and discard him over and over again. You can absolutely take this to a dark very dubcon Isaac/Finis place, but I'd also be delighted to see him being a platonically awful mentor and father, or something in between/ambiguous.
Diabolik Lovers
Komori Yui, Komori Seiji
DNW Seiji/Yui as a romantic or sexual relationship.
I have not kept up with the later games in the franchise, and would prefer to use the characterization from the first game (Haunted Dark Bridal) and/or the first anime season.
So, first I have to acknowledge the obvious: Yui's father's characterization has been retconned at least one time that I'm aware of, which is almost impressive considering he barely got characterization to begin with. I stopped paying attention to the newer games post-Dark Fate/Lunatic Parade so I'm not aware if he's come up again, but since the two appearances I'm aware of (in Haunted Dark Bridal and in More Blood) have him doing almost the exact opposite thing in a very similar situation I'm totally willing to be, shall we say, flexible in terms of how you want to characterize Seiji, particularly on the subject of his bond with Yui and how he was as a father to her. Obviously he was a vampire hunter but he also did not take proper precautions to protect Yui from vampires, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was a bad or neglectful parent during her childhood and early teen years.
That said, for me personally one of the most effective truly horrifying moments in the first game was Kanato bringing vampire!Yui to meet and kill her father (in the Heaven Scenarios) and part of what was so creepy and sad about it, besides Yui not recognizing or remembering her father, was Yui saying that she'd expected a vampire hunter to put up more of a fight, with the implication that Seiji loved her too much to use all his skill to try to kill her even though she'd become a monster. I'm more interested in that version of her father than the one in More Blood who can't even tell if she's a vampire or not that just jumps to attempted murder (as fun as Kanato protecting her is). So I'd absolutely love heartbreaking Seiji POV for that heaven scenario or something similar!
If that doesn't speak to you, I'd be interested in pretty much any scenario in which Yui and Seiji reunite but Yui has been changed enough by her experiences that they can't find common ground any more. A Yui who's been corrupted by Cordelia's influence not understanding why her father is frightened by her or disgusted by her newfound cruelty? Seiji trying to protect his daughter and inadvertently killing the one vampire she's formed the closest bond with, not understanding why she's devastated? (For this prompt, I'd rather the dead vampire boyfriend be Shu, Subaru or Ayato than Kanato or Reiji, or one of the Mukamis if you're into the More Blood version) Or a snapshot of Yui's childhood/teen years, with Seiji concealing his vampire hunting activities and lying to Yui over and over again even as increasingly weird and unsettling things are happening? Or an AU where Seiji manages to come back and rescue Yui before she gets in too deep with the Sakamakis, but where they're constantly on the run being tracked by the brothers, Richter and/or other vampires at the behest of Karl Heinz?

Yang
DNW: the racism is canon and I won't ask you to ignore it, but I'd rather not have white characters being racist to Yang as the main focus of the story if at all possible. If you're writing sex/sexually charged interactions, absolutely no race kink in either direction. Also please keep references to the canonical human trafficking vague and at a minimum.
I adored Yang before even unlocking his route, just from seeing him effortlessly manipulate events on Nicola’s. Yang’s actual route didn’t disappoint! I love his relationship with Lili, how he pushes her to think for herself and keeps her (and everyone around him) on their toes. I’d love something about when Yang was first getting established in Veleno, or him playing off the Falzones and/or Visconti, figuring out how they work and how to exploit their weaknesses for his own gain. Or about him on his own after his bad end with Lili or post, say, Nicola's ends where he ends up seriously injured but not necessarily dead, clawing his way back into a position of power because he's a damn survivor :D
I'm not too hot on the Falzone family in general, but that means I'd be even more on board for Yang just throwing them into chaos by managing to insert himself between Nicola and Dante somehow, if you can think of a way. (As far as I'm concerned Nicola > Dante is basically canon, so you know, if Yang picks up on that and decides to exploit Nicola's repressed gay desires... twisty terrible Yang/Nicola could be fun!)
I do like Orlok so far, but since I haven't 100% completed his route yet I don't feel that it makes sense for me to write any prompts specific to him and his dynamic with Yang just yet. I expect I'll have finished by reveals, though!
If you fancy Lili/Yang, I really like that Lili grows up a lot more over the course of his route. She's forced to challenge a lot of her preconceived notions and ends up more pragmatic for it. I especially liked the scene where the Falzones try to take her and she says she doesn't trust them because they're two-faced, unlike Yang, who doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is. There aren't many simple answers on Yang's route, and I'd love it if that carried over into the fic. The best end involves Lili leaving Italy altogether with him, which can't be easy for her. How does she cope with the culture shock and learning a new language? Does Yang have any tips for her based on his experiences? Or, what if they met under different circumstances? Could Yang successfully seduce Lili away from one of the Falzone?
I will mention though I'm not too fussed about spoilers, at the time of writing this letter I've finished Nicola's route, Yang's route, Dante' route and am partway through Orlok's. I haven't unlocked Gilbert yet and I understand there's a final "true" route though I have no idea whether it particularly involves Yang (I suspect it doesn't but I've been wrong about stuff like that before).
